The government departments that are taking part are:Department for Communities and Local GovernmentDepartment for EducationDepartment for Environment, Food and Rural AffairsDepartment for Work and PensionsHome OfficeNational Audit OfficeThere is no charge to take part and NCVO handles the appropriate matching.The one-day swap takes place between November 2016 and April 2017.You can find out more about NCVO’s A Day in the Life and applications to the programme close on 16 October 2016.One participant in last year’s scheme said:“I enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to people who want to step outside of their usual environment and see how another organisation and team works”.
