Jeb Bush was recently honored by the Florida Association for Women Lawyers for his commitment to achieving fair representation of women and minorities in Florida’s judiciary, and in support of his record on judicial appointments.During his first three years in office, 40 percent of Gov. Bush’s judicial appointments were women and minorities. The Governor was presented with the FAWL President’s Award at a ceremony at the Barry University School of Law in Orlando.“I am extremely honored and humbled to receive this award,” Bush said. “Diversity has been, and will continue to be, among my top priorities in judicial appointments. The diversity of our judicial appointments is a credit to the high quality of the many women and minorities who have achieved excellence in the legal profession.”FAWL President Susan W. Fox said the association called upon Gov.
