The challenge of this residence was the need for an ample leisure space required by the owners. Therefore the strategy of this project was to raise the main rooms to the upper floor and release the ground level.Save this picture!© Marcelo DonadussiTherefore, the first level becomes a large area of leisure, alternating between open/covered and indoor/outdoor spaces. This level also houses the utility room, the library, and the guest room.Save this picture!First Floor PlanThe upper floor is distributed in two separate areas – the social area, located in the northern portion of the terrain, and the private area, located in the southern part of the lot – connected by a walkway.Save this picture!© Marcelo DonadussiWith this arrangement, all everyday family activities take place on the upper floor, eliminating the stairs from the routine of the residents.Save this picture!SectionThe geometry of higher volume, which is a particular combination based on the lot’s shape with analyses relevant to the site, provides adequate natural lighting and ventilation, privacy control, and framing of the surrounding perspectives.Save this picture!© Marcelo DonadussiProject gallerySee allShow lessWatch The Pritzker Prize Award Ceremony Live Today (8pm ET)Architecture NewsDiller Scofidio + Renfro Reveals Concept Designs For US Olympic MuseumUnbuilt Project Share ShareFacebookTwitterPinterestWhatsappMailOrhttps://www.archdaily.com/629579/2v-house-br3-arquitetos Clipboard ShareFacebookTwitterPinterestWhatsappMailOrhttps://www.archdaily.com/629579/2v-house-br3-arquitetos Clipboard “COPY” 2V HOUSE / BR3 ArquitetosSave this projectSave2V HOUSE / BR3 Arquitetos Save this picture!© Marcelo Donadussi+ 36 Share CopyHouses•Porto Alegre, Brazil Brazil 2013 Year:  ArchDaily Houses Photographs Area:  335 m² Area:  335 m² Year Completion year of this architecture project Year:  Architects: BR3 Arquitetos Area Area of this architecture projectlast_img read more
