Despite having an uncharacteristically abysmal year, the Florida State Seminoles have just added an intriguing option at quarterback.Travis is a former three-star recruit from the 2018 class, and unfortunately he never saw his chance on the field with the Cardinals. Considering that Louisville will undergo an entirely different regime this upcoming season, the dual-threat quarterback is looking out for his best interest.Josh Newberg of 247Sports broke the news, as Travis revealed his future destination today.Louisville transfer QB Jordan Travis tells me he has committed to play at Florida State. More to come on https://t.co/0gpk3GSZ6U— Josh Newberg (@joshnewberg247) December 26, 2018It should be noted that Travis’ brother, Devon Travis, played baseball for the Seminoles before making his journey to the MLB.Florida State will have three quarterbacks on the roster next season, if Deondre Francois decides to return for his senior campaign. Nonetheless, joining the Seminoles gives Travis an opportunity to play in Kendal Briles’ offense. His eligibility is reportedly still up in the air right now, as it’s unclear if he’ll be able to declare for a hardship waiver. This season was extremely disappointing for the Seminoles, but perhaps Willie Taggart’s latest addition will reignite the program.
